3 month pics

He is getting soo big, and getting such a little personality.

And Winnie girl LOVES him... not so much when he take all her play time, but she is very protective of him, which we knew she would be. This was after bath time, and she wanted to be included.... so she just came in and laid on him:) Good girl!

Maybe, just maybe.....

Tues night during small group Aulden was a doll. No crying, just watching all the activity. So we gave him a bottle around 8, and ended up staying until 9:30 talking. So I thought I would need to feed him as soon as we got home, but he was soooo tired. We laid him in the play pen while we got ready for a shower and ... HE FELL ASLEEP ON HIS OWN!!!. Ahhh I felt soo bad waking him up to take a shower, but if we don't do our routine, he only sleeps about 2-3 hrs b/f he is up. GRRRRRRR...

Wed night, he had a bottel in the nursery, but by the time we were heading home( 8:30ish) he was wailing! So he ate as soon as we got home, and fell asleep.
;) I laid him in the crib around 10 pm, and he didn't move. So he slept in there for a while, probably 40 min. Once he started stiring , I got him out to take shower for bed time routine.... and he slept until 5 am.

So maybe, just maybe, he is moving to sleeping in a crib! :)

Pictures

Behind a little bit on my post, so here are some pictures over the past month....

I found my thumb :(

My first day of school- such a big boy!

For Easter, 4 out of the 6 couples at small group were in town, so we met at the park and had a picnic, played games

My boys :)

Baby dedication

These are the pics that I have from our group baby dedication. Our small group has split into 2 smaller groups, and out of 12 couples, 9 of us will have kids over the span of 16 months. This group was the 'old' group (minus the Davis' :( ) So there are 2 more boys and 2 girls missing from this group!

I do think the Wallace's spiked the water :)

Before they call, I will answer

Isaiah 58:9 has always been on my list of favorite bible verses. And I believe it because God heard all of my prayers (and those of friends and family)
Yesterday was a BIG day- I was going back to work, which meant Aulden would be at day care all day.

IT WENT SOO WELL!!!!! PRAISE GOD!
We made it out of the door around 7:00. Which I had no idea all the stuff you have to get together when you are a mother of a newborn. But I left daycare by 7:15, and neither of us cried :)
I was at the office by 7:30, and by 8, I was filtering through my 1500 emails. My manager got in around 9, and had work lined up for me to keep me busy. Very much appreciated. So minus the 3 times I had to run out to the car to pump, the day went by VERY fast.
I only called the daycare 1 to make sure he had enough bottles. I was afraid he wouldn't have enough... and my supply is messed up b/c of the masitis.
But he wasn't eating as much so we were good.

When I picked him up at 4, he was on the floor playing with the gyms. He had take 2 naps in the morning that lasted over 2 hrs, THEN he took a 40 min nap during the afternoon in the CRIB! IN THE CRIB!!!!
I am sure he cried, and that is ok, but the teachers said he did really well.

THANK YOU GOD for your wonderful grace and mercy!

Then, get this, he went to be around 10 pm (took us forever to get him to sleep last night) but he slept until 5:30 AM!!!!! James and I both work up panicking. I thought he wasn't breathing, James thought he slept through us getting up :)

Ugly Cry

Today, at 11:45 am, I dropped Aulden off at daycare for the first time. I had decided to do a 1/2 today in pm, and 1/2 tomorrow in am. Then our first full day would be thurs when I go back to work.
So this morning I really was fine, but as time started creeping closer, I found myself holding him more, even snuggling tighter. Then by 11:30, I felt I needed to just do it- ripe it off like a band aid. So changed his diaper, and off we went- the full 3 miles down the road.
I was ok in the car, and even as we went into the room. It wasn't until the teacher asked me to get him out and put him in a swing so she could show me everything. Aulden was fully awake and he just looked at me. It broke my heart to know I wouldn't be with him all the time. I started crying, and the teacher felt bad for me so that made it worse.
I walked out to the car to get the diapers and the young woman at the front, trying to be encouraging, said it would be ok. I wanted to ask her "how do you know that, you are not old enough to even reproduce, so how do you know my heart will stop aching just because you said so.
He didn't cry when I left, and I tired to hurry so I wouldn't hear him in the event that he started. But when I got in the car to leave, I couldn't breath.
Thus the ugly crying for a full hour.
Even now at 1:48, after I met James for lunch, and went to Target- I am still crying :)

That is the hardest, and most painful thing I have ever done.
Then plan is to pick him up at 3:30....... and we will do it all over again tomorrow.

All systems a go-

Yesterday Aulden got his 2month shots. He was pretty moody and clingy, but for the most part he slept the shots off- which we were not expecting. SO hurdle one jumped.

Although still fussy, I decided to take him into daycare or a little bit. I honestly felt peaceful about everything. There were 6 babies in there, and no more than 2 cried at one time, and no more than 5 min. So I know they will work with him- get him in a crib, and on a good schedule:) Hurdle two jumped.

I was suppose to have my post pardon check up yesterday but when they told me they were more than 45 min behind, I resched it for today. Well my lucky stars, they were more than 1 hr behind today:) But this time they offered snacks- it is amazing how much I calm down when feed ! But everything looked good. I do have an infection and blocked ducts- they said it would take about 1 week on antibiotics to heal. So in the meantime, pumping is going to be an issue:(. But they release me so I will return to work on the 8th- Hurdle 3.

Now for the final stretch. In one week I will return to work.
So everyone in the sound of me typing, please pray for me. It will not only be crazy trying to work out the schedule, but just leaving my little one, whom I have literally spent just about every waking min with, will be out of my arms. Pray that God will hold him, and comfort me.... that Winnie will get some peace and quite, and that James can keep us all saine !
