.....that is what Aulden James Rainey is made of :)
Today during the ultrasound, they were able to determine we were having a little boy! :) As soon as I can get our scanner working, I will load some pictures. She had a hard time even getting clear pictures b/c he was moving around soo much. Guess that was due to the Mt. Dew I had right before I walked in! :)
They measured me at 19 weeks, and said everything is on track and developing correctly. Brain, Heart, stomach, and kidneys all looked good.
They did see a 'white spot' on the heart so they want us get a more detailed ultrasound, but the Dr didn't think it was anything since everything had developed correctly. So, darn, another ultrasound :)

In the Dark....
We took winnie to the park early last night, and got back to the house around 6:30. In getting ready for our friends from VA, we needed to go to the grocery store. So off to Target we went, and made it back home around 8.
I started flipping on the lights in the kitchen only to get really mad at the florescent bulbs that seemed to not be working. So I flipped on the hallway light.
I turned tried to turn the porch light on- but it wouldn't work either. So then I went through a discovery of flipping on all the lights, to realize some were out some were not... noticing that the stove and fridge was out, but the microwave was not?? All very weird.
James goes out and starts flipping breaker switches (of which I had no idea how many there were!!!) Nothing seemed to work, and as I was getting ready to call someone to come over and look, our neighbor Alan came over and said he was getting 1/2 the power wattage in the front of his house as well. How quirky is that??? So he had called, and we called Duke Power to come out and fix it. We still had power upstairs and in the back half of the house, just not kitchen and garage.... which caused worry for all the new groceries I just purchased at Target.
Duke came out, but while the technician was in his mega ton truck- we heard a LOUD pop. The transformer had blown. Now they had to replace it and it would take a couple of hours. Time check 9:00.
Oh well, it is time for bed, right?. Well with power out in the entire house, it made it a little more difficult. No air, no lights, no white noise- no idea where anything is. And then around 11:30 they came, loudly, to replace the transformer.
Sooo a long night.:) But I am thankful for all that God has blessed us with and that we have a home to loose power in! :)

This is Steelers Country....
Wow- I have been to Steelers games before, but this one took the cake.
James and I caught the 6:15am flight out of Charlotte to Pittsburgh- which we have missed before, and almost missed again. Note to self- do not fly so early in the morning. But we arrived on time and met James father, Dick.
Prior to going to Pittsburgh Mills we hit Primanti Brothers- Yummm! James and Dick both got the #2- which is a steak patty with french fries, and slaw b/t fresh white bread. I was frowned at when I got the Chicken Parm sub :)After the mall we head back through town to our room, to take a nap.
The 'festivities' began around 4- but from seeing it on the news, there was no way I was fighting the crowd that early . The festivities were Time McGraw and Black Eyed Peas- Look how packed it was!

We walked down to the concert around 6 and then headed over to the stadium around 7.
Now, let me say when I say Steelers fans are serious, it is like a religion to them. Never have I seen a group of fans more passionate about something that was not faith or family based. So with this being the season opener, defending their Superbowl title- Everyone was on high levels of adrenaline...and beer :) The Pittsburgh Steelers would take on the Tennessee Titian's.
After all the whop-la of the opening, and the game finally got started (at 8:30) and it was a good game. Some bad calls by the refs- of course, and Ben just made some stupid plays. But by Midnight, the game was tied 7:7- I was ready to go to bed.
Next play....... Ben makes a pass to Ward..... he runs.... breaking tackles down to the 5 yard line.... AND...... HE FUMBLES!!!! He fumbles right in front of us- which I failed to mention, our tickets were AWESOME. 7 rows from the front.
So we are now in over time. AHHHHH!!! But the Steelers redeem themselves and pulled out a field goal to win the game. By the time we walked back to our room it was 12:45
Here are some pics from the game.

Friday- we slept in until 9:30 :) It was wonderful!!!! We ate breakfast downstairs, packed up and checked out. We then headed out to Robinson Town Center where I did some serious shopping:) Got most of the items on 'my list' so I was super happy. Have I mentioned it is tax free in PA :)
So it was a VERY quick trip- but a good one.
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!
